Filter Function

The filter is a function to narrow the notes list displayed in the main screen. As a result, it becomes easy to discover target note even if the number of notes increases.

The filter options are as follows.

• Narrowing by note number automatically assigned at a note creation
• Narrowing by last updated date and time
• Narrowing with tags
• Narrowing by partial match retrieval of title
• Narrowing by full text search (ptsNotes S60 v1.1 and ptsNotes Windows v1.2)

You may use a filter option or combine multiple options to narrow down the notes list. You can narrow down to fewer notes by using two or more filter options.
The filter setting is kept automatically in each database. When the ptsNotes is started, the state of the filter is automatically restored.
